this is a selection of ceramic works spanning almost two decades of my creative practice. Clay-working was one of the first artistic endeavors I set myself to at a young age, and these works run the gamut from high school to post-graduate.
in primary school I struggled academically and the ceramic studio provided both a respite and an avenue into college admissions; it was on the strength of my ceramic portfolio that I was admitted to Syracuse University's School of Architecture for my bachelor's program. My background in ceramic arts would prove prescient later on, when I switched majors to Sculpture.
