finally, day five! on the fifth and final day, i designed a plan for how to proceed with building a prototype for a machine-learning-enabled hydroponic agriculture system, which i will continue to insist upon calling 'hydroculture.'
this project is still mostly in the development phase, but i have laid out a concrete plan for how to build a small version of an extendable self-learning hydroculture system. this type of machine would be of great use in an artificial environment such as a mars colony, but will also be an significant step in the global struggle to combat climate change, where agriculture and the food supply is a front line of battle against corporate control of society.
this design is intended for immediate construction as a prototype; the extendability aspect of it will need further refinement. this platform will mainly be used to test certain 3D printed parts and to try to teach some machine learning programs to tell when a plant is healthy.
